Procedure and Fee for New Registration of Profession Tax. (Employer-Deductor )

Procedure
1. Dealer can fill in the application online on the CTD portal which can be accessed through the following link: https://tgct.gov.in/tgpt_dealer/Registration/Email_Login.aspx.
2. Click on ‘New user sign up here’ and register your mail id. Thereafter, a password will be sent to the registered mail address.
3. After receiving the password, go to ‘PT registration’ through the above link and Login with mail Id and password.
4. Click on new Registration.
5. If the dealer is already registered with any other Act like VAT/CST/LT/ET with Commercial Taxes Department, Telangana then please enter the respective TIN and your dealer data will be populated by the system itself. Dealer can edit the data if required and submit application.
6. If you are a fresh dealer, then please select necessary options from the dropdowns in the first screen and then, enter Name of the enterprise followed by relevant details and proceed to Next.
7. System will generate RNR.
8. Select Bank name from the dropdown and enter your bank account details as shown in the second screen.
9. If you have Additional Place of Business, enter the relevant details otherwise click Next to proceed to third screen.
10. Check & upload supporting documents in the fourth screen.
11. Click edit and enter Authorized Person details.
12. Verify all the details in the summary before submitting the application.
13. Submit the application.
Required Documents
i) Address proof of Principal Place of Business.
ii) PAN Card of Business.
iii) Latest Bank Statement.
iv) Deed of partnership/MoA, AoA, and Certificate of Incorporation.
v) PAN Card of Partners/Directors.

Procedure:
1. After receiving the application, the concerned PT officer will scrutinize and in case of any gap found in the registration application, the Registering authority may revert the application to the dealer with remarks and provide 7 days of time to respond to the query. The dealer may resubmit the application after rectifying the defects noted.
2. In case of rejection of the application, the Registering Authority will issue a rejection order, by recoding the reasons for such rejection.

Within (1) working day from the date of receipt of the application.

Procedure:
Post-completion of Scrutiny of the application by PT officer, the application will be approved and a PTIN will be generated and sent to your registered email address.

Procedure:
1. After receiving the PTIN, go to https://tgct.gov.in/tgpt_dealer/Returns/Dealer_Login.aspx and click ‘New user sign up here’ and enter necessary details for receiving password to your registered email address.
2. Now, the dealer can login to their PT login through the above link with the credentials received to email.
3. Upon logging in for the first time, the page will prompt you to fill the details pertaining to No. of Branches, No. of Directors and whether you have employees.
4. Enter the relevant details for generating Enrolment only Certificate (Other than Employer- Deductor) or Registration & Enrolment Certificate (Employer-Deductor).
5. Dealer can now download the PT Certificate based on above selection from their login.
