| Powers of Government to alter rates of taxes |

The Government may, from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette make such alteration in the rate of tax specified in section 3, section 13 or section 16 1(and in respect of such race meeting as they deem fit.) 1. Substitutes for the words 'as of deems fit' by Act 6 of 1975 w.e.f.2.11.1974.
